About the Foundation
The Sacramento Unified Educational Foundation (SUEF) is an independent, nonprofit 501c3 corporation set-up as the philanthropic fundraising auxiliary of the Sacramento Unified School District. The Foundation supports the District’s mission of teaching and learning services through the acquisition and management of gifts, grants and endowments.
BOARD MEMBERS
The Sacramento Unified Education Foundation Board of Directors supports the foundation in its efforts to secure and manage the donations from the community for the Sacramento Unified School District. Their leadership and “whatever it takes” commitment is essential in helping the District to eliminate the opportunity and academic achievement gap.
The Board meets quarterly to establish policy, develop goals and objectives, assist with long-range planning and monitor Alumni Association finances. The Board connects with prospective donors, engages the community, supports our students and highlights alumni and friends of the District, building lifelong relationships.
