Monique Anderson is the manager of Technology Portfolio Management within VSP Global’s IT division where she leads and manages a team of 11 program managers, project managers and business analysts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley (GO BEARS!) in both Political Science and Rhetoric and she is a certified Scrum Master and Scaled Agile Program Consultant. Monique was named a “40 Under 40” by the Sacramento Business Journal in 2012 and is a 2012 Senior Fellow in the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program.
Monique enjoys working with and mentoring youth. She has volunteered as an instructor for the Junior Achievement program, as a mentor for Rancho Cordova High School students, served as Chair of the T.R.Smedberg Middle School Site Council, Secretary and current President for the Pleasant Grove High School Music Program Booster Board, and is the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Musical Instruments In Kids Hands (MINKH) program. She is an instructor and Steering Committee Member for the Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur Academy and the former Scholarship Committee Chair of the Folsom Lake College Foundation Board.
